Asked by:Reena Gaur on 03/09/2015
Internet Users Ans#1 5.2 Crores Internet Users have been added in India in the first 6 months ending on 30th June of the year 2015. Thus, Internet Users number has now crossed 35.2 Crores (as per data released by IAMAI on 3rd September 2015). Surprisingly, 21.3 Crores Users access the Internet through mobile devices.
The Internet in India took more than a decade to move from 1 Crore to 10 Crores, and 3 years from 10 Crores to 20 Crores. However, it took only a year to move from 20 Crores to 30 Crores Users. Clearly, Internet is the mainstream in India today.

Baahubali Ans#1 Shri S.S. Rajamouli has brilliantly created Bahubali Movie with the jaw-dropping VFX, Action, drama, war scenes, sound, special visual effects – all these are totally a visual treat. This is the grandest movie made in India by Shri S.S. Rajamouli, the director who had earlier given blockbusters such as Magadheera and Eega. The movie has already created a huge buzz among the audiences due to its cost and historical topic. Created in Telegu and Tamil, the movie has also been dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam. The Hindi theatrical version has been produced by Bollywood’s renowned diredctor Shri Karan Johar. Here are the top reasons you should watch this movie:

Q.When International Yoga Day is celebrated?
Asked by:Reena Gaur on 05/06/2015
 Yoga Day Ans#1

United Nations General Assembly has declared 21st June as the International Day of Yoga (also spelled/ pronounced as Yog in India). Yog is more than 6,000 years old physical, mental and spiritual practice originated in India (Bharat). The above declaration came after the call for the adoption of International Day of Yog by the Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on 27th September 2014, wherein he has stated: "Yog is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help us deal with climate change. Let us work towards adopting an International Yog Day."

This year Shri Narendra Modi has plans to make the International Yog Day a big event by organizing a mass yog session at India Gate in New Delhi. The grass near India Gate will be transformed into the venue for what it is hoped will be the biggest single yog session ever held, with up to 45,000 people running through a 35-minute routine.

The participants will include the prime minister himself, most of his government and, they hope, many celebrities. Officials have been sent to round up volunteers from scores of countries to reinforce the international credentials of the ancient Indian practice.

Q.Should we follow the Brand Ambassador?

Q.Whether third party damage liability insurance is mandatory for Fire Arms (Gun/ Pistol) Owners?
Asked by:Reena Gaur on 30/05/2015
Gun Ans#1 Third party liability Insurance for vehicles is very common and is also mandatory in many countries. The vehicle insurance provides great relief to the third party towards compensating the losses, whereas the Law takes its own course in punishing the offender. A similar need has been felt in USA towards protecting the interest of general public by way of providing an option to get the compensation in case of damage caused by fire arms. This is also going to have similar deterrent effect as seen in decline of car accident in last decade due to non-affordable increase in premiums for irresponsible owners/ drivers.
USA is considering to amend the legislation to make the insurance of liability to fire arms owners mandatory. This is because there is no drop observed in the damage caused due to fire arms in last few decades, and there is an outcry to protect the interest of general public. There are four historical scenarios which will determine the insurance premium:
  1. Firing with Malicious Intentions
  2. Firing on account of Self Defense
  3. Accidental Firing
  4. No Proper Storage or handing over to non-trustworthy person

Q.Should "Horn OK Please" painted on Trucks gives any message?
Asked by:Reena Gaur on 02/05/2015
Horn OK Ans#1 There are varied perceptions what message is received by the drivers following a truck which has a painted sign on back saying “Horn OK Please”. This may have been adopted in good olden days, just to remind the motorists that in case if you want to overtake, you need to honk so that truck ahead can give space to pass.
Over the years traffic has increased many folds and truckers are finding it difficult to give site/ pass. But drivers are honking time and again to get attention. Is it bad, and whether Horn OK Please is really prompting to honk more? No clear answer. New York decided a couple of years ago to remove street signs asking drivers not to honk, although the fines remained. The city believes such signs do not actually alter public behaviour. The Maharashtra government has banned truck owners from painting the iconic Horn OK Please signs at the back of their vehicles. The government has said these signs encourage drivers to honk. Which strategy works right? No clear. There is no doubt, behavioural science is making its way into public policy. Human beings do not respond just to financial incentives. Fines alone do not lead to better driving practices.

Q.What is the Culture of Cronyism?
Asked by:Reena Gaur on 22/04/2015
Ans#1 Cronyism is the habit of extending partiality (or favours) to long-standing friends, especially by appointing them to positions of authority, regardless of their qualifications. Cronyism exists when those in authority and the beneficiary are in social contact. Often, the appointing authority is inadequate to hold his or her own job or position of authority, and for this reason appoints individuals who will not try to weaken him or her, or express views contrary.

Hence, cronyism is contrary in practice and principle to Meritocracy. If cronyism is widely followed by many in the society it is called as Culture of Cronyism.
